Bailong Chuangyuan Gains New Edge with Allulose Production License Approval

Recently, Bailong Chuangyuan successfully obtained the production license for D-allulose, marking that the company’s allulose products are now officially qualified for compliant mass production and full-scale market launch. This achievement represents another key step in the company’s strategic layout in the functional sweetener sector.
 
As a leading enterprise in the domestic sugar substitute industry, Bailong Chuangyuan boasts strong product strength in the allulose field. Over the years, the company has continuously deepened its core technology research and development for allulose, accumulating mature production processes and a comprehensive quality control system. Supported by complete production facilities, a professional R&D team, and stringent production standards, the company has laid a solid foundation for stable product output and quality assurance.

Since 2014, Bailong Chuangyuan has focused its R&D efforts on next-generation products such as crystalline allulose. In 2016, it achieved industrial-scale production of liquid allulose, and in 2019, it overcame crystalline technology challenges to realize mass production. The company is also a participating unit in the pre-classification of allulose under the customs import and export tariff code. Currently, Bailong Chuangyuan has obtained 14 allulose-related patents, including 8 domestic patents and 6 international PCT patents, covering areas such as strains, production processes, and product characteristics.
 
On July 2, 2025, the National Health Commission (NHC) announced in its 2025 Bulletin No. 4 that allulose has been included as a new food ingredient, covering both fermentation-based and enzymatic production processes. Bailong Chuangyuan’s allulose products fully comply with the requirements set forth in the NHC announcement.

With regulatory approval in China, allulose holds vast market potential.
